System Malfunction?!

You know that feeling at the pit of your stomache when God is leading you to something, and you feel really confident about it but instead you choose to settle or comprimise.

This past week, I felt God leading me to a decision that was't an easy one to make. Being confronted by it, I "50/50ed" it. Instead of doing what I felt the Lord was leading me to, I settled or comprised for something less. In pushing the Holy Spirit to the side, it could have cost me an amazing friendship, or lack of faith in God. The decision backfired when I was told that they didnt agree. dAYS later, it came back. My decision, my initiative, MY HOLY SPIRIT lead act, was right, and I hadn't followed it. I call it a "MALFUNCTION".


As tough as it seems sometimes, maybe we need to SHUT UP and listen, we have to take that step, not even just a step.We need to take that leap, keep that faith in God, and understand this man knows what He is doing. I know for next time that no matter what my flesh wants to "SETTLE FOR" my Holy Spirit will not settle for aything less then what God has for me.

I encourage you to listen, follow, and trust in what the Lord is leading you to do or say. Wether it be a job decision, a relaationship decision, a friendship decision, or even a much easier decision like what to wear. Listen to Him, because the Lord knows what he is doing. So i'll leave you with this: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20
